We are seeking for an experienced Camping and Trekking Trainer/Instructor to mentor and guide younger individuals in becoming entrepreneurs specializing in camping and trekking tourism within their local communities. This role aims to instill leadership, outdoor skills, business acumen, and a love for sustainable tourism practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design and conduct comprehensive training programs focused on camping, trekking, outdoor safety, and environmental conservation.
- Provide personalized mentoring to empower youths in developing entrepreneurship skills specifically tailored to the camping and trekking tourism industry.
- Create engaging and practical curriculum modules encompassing camping and trekking techniques, local tourism knowledge, business fundamentals, and customer service.
- Guide youths in developing business plans, marketing strategies, and customer engagement tactics for their camping and trekking ventures.
- Collaborate with local communities, tourism boards, and relevant organizations to foster partnerships and opportunities for the aspiring youth entrepreneurs.
- Organize community events, workshops, and initiatives to promote camping and trekking tourism while advocating for responsible outdoor practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors/ Masters in Tourism and hospitality, camping and trekking.z
- Minimum 1+ years of experience.
- Extensive experience in camping, trekking, outdoor education, and tourism.
- Proven track record in mentoring or teaching youth programs, preferably in entrepreneurship.
- Certification in outdoor education, wilderness first aid, or related fields.
