HR Manager

As an HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resource operations within an organization. You will play a vital role in managing employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, training and development, and ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations. Your primary objective will be to foster a positive work environment, support employee growth, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement employee relation strategies, policies and programs to a positive work culture and maintain employee engagement.
  • Handle employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary action in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, create job descriptions, and lead recruitment efforts.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for sourcing, attracting, and selecting top talent.
  • Oversee the onboarding process, including orientation, training, and necessary paperwork.
  • Administer and evaluate compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, incentives, and employee benefits packages.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding compensation-related matters.
  • Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge and conduct employee training sessions, workshops, and seminars. Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Develop, update, and communicate HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
  • Develop and implement performance management systems, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance-related matters.
  • Prepare regular HR reports, including metrics, analytics, and key performance indicators.

Qualification and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience as an HR manager or in a similar HR leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software applications.
  • Experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and training and development.
